The book I read was The Siren by Kiera Cass. This book is 327 pages long. Something you might not know about this author is that she loves to eat cake. If you like romance books then you will like this book. My favorite part is when Kahlen and Akinli go to the bookstore together.

Kahlen is a siren, but she wasn’t always one. She had been a part of a wealthy household and was just traveling with her mom when their ship crashed. While she was drowning, one of the sirens told her she could be with her mom and continue to drown or come with them. Now she can’t talk in public because she is a siren. When she meets Akinli at a local college, she falls in love, which is strictly against the oceans rules. One night she accidentally lets one word slip, and he jumps into the ocean. The book I read was The Boy on the Wooden Box by Leon Leyson, Marilyn J. Harran, and Elisabeth B. Leyson. This book is 206 pages long. This Book is a true story of what happened to Leon in the Nazi camps and how Oskar Schindler saved his life. My favorite part of this story is how he was able to go back to Poland

Leon Leyson lived in Narewka with his mom, brothers, and sister. When his dad earned enough money they were able to move to Krakow and live with him. Hitler and his army invaded Poland and there was one issue. Leon and his family were Jewish. they stayed in Poland as long as they could with the help of his fathers work permit, but eventually, they were sent to Plazow. After a while, they were transferred to Schindler’s factory where they got more food and the work was not unbearable. at the end of the war, they were released and sent back home. Leon and what was left of his family went back to Poland. When he sends a request to move to America, how will he communicate with other people? The book I read was A Wrinkle In Time by Madeleine L’ Engle. This book is 232 pages long. This book is in a quintet. Something you might not know about this author is she moved to the French Alps when she was twelve. My favorite part of this book was when they were flying through the air and had to use the flower bells to breathe.

When Charles Wallace meets a woman who claims she knows where he is, Meg, her brother, and their friends Calvin O’ Keefe go with her. When they go with two other women, they learn how to Tesser. The book I read was The Candymakers by Wendy Mass. This book is 480 pages long. Another book by this author is A Mango-Shaped space.  If you like books with lots of plot twists than this is the book for you. I love how the author was very descriptive about everything.

They each have their secrets, good ones or not. Logan, Daisy, Phillip, and Miles are in a candy contest along with 28 other kids. The candy the judges think is the best will be the new candy produced. Logan has been excited about this contest for his whole life since his dad owns Life Is Sweet, a well-known candy factory. When the competition starts and they begin to work on their candies. when they find out the whole factory is in danger, they have to work together. Will they save the factory or will it close down forever? Read The CandyMakers by Wendy Mass.

The book I read was Neighborhood Girls by Jessie Ann Foley. This book is 368 pages long. Something you might not know about this author is that she has been writing since she was 5 years old. If you like books in the realistic fiction genre then you will like this book. My favorite part was when Wendy went ghost hunting with her Aunt Kathy.

The book I read was Kingdom Keepers: Disney After Dark. This book is by Ridley Pearson and is 324 pages long. This is the first book in a series of seven. If you like fantasy books then you will like this series. I love how the author made the book exciting and fun while putting creepy things in there too.

Lots of people believed in them, and belief brings characters to life, but not all of them are good.  Fin, Charlene, Maybeck, and Philby are chosen to be DHIs at the magic kingdom. Soon they discover they all have been having the same dream. Then in one of those dreams, Fin meets Wayne. He tells him that in order to save the parks, he has to get all of the DHIs together in the dream to solve a riddle. The overtakers need to be stopped and they are the only ones who can do it. The book I read was Legend by Marie Lu. This book is 352 pages long. The other books in this series are Prodigy and Champion. Something you might not know about this author is that she used to work for Disney in the video game industry. If you like books in the science fiction genre, then you will like this book.

In this world, you have to take a test when you turn ten years old. If you fail you get sent to a labor camp. If you pass you go to high school and continue with your life. This is where June and Day live. Day is a wanted criminal, and June is the only person to make a full 1500 on her trail. Junes brother Metias was killed and June is sent to find Day. Eden, Day’s little brother, gets the plague, and Day does something to get in trouble. when June discovers she has been with Day all along she knows just how to expose him to the Republic. When Day tells June the truth that has been hidden from her, she has some serious thinking to do. Will she believe Day and help him escape or will she turn against him even more? The book I read was Frozen Charlotte by Alex Bell. This book is 297 pages long. Another book in this series is Charlotte Says, which is the prequel to this book. If you like creepy books then you will love this.

Sophie goes to the Isle of Sky after her best friend Jay dies. She stays with her cousins and uncle while her parent go on a trip of their own. The youngest, Lilias, has a fear of bones, Piper is so perfect that she seems unreal, and Cameron is an amazing piano player, but he is only able to play with one hand because of a severe burn. While she is there, Lilias tries to warn Sophie about the dolls in the cabinet.  She says they want to get out and hurt everyone in the family.  Cameron tells Sophie something interesting about Piper and Lilias’ relationship. When Piper goes a tad bit insane, will the others make it out alive? Read Frozen Charlotte by Alex Bell.

The book I read was Charlotte Says by Alex Bell. this book is 353 pages long. This book is the prequel to Frozen Charlotte. I like how the author had chapters about the present and what happened in the past.

When Jemina Black’s home burns to the ground, she has to apply for a job at Dunvegan School for Girls. While she is there she receives a box with her name engraved on the top. Inside there are hundreds of tiny Frozen Charlotte dolls that influence her and the others to do bad things. She reunites with her old friend Henry, and witnesses multiple deaths. The dolls caused many issues after she donated them to the girls. The cops were called twice during her stay and two more deaths occur. What other tragedies will occur during her stay? The book I read was The Lions of Little Rock by Kristin Levine. This book is 320 pages. another book by this author is The Best Bad Luck I Ever had. If you like the historical fiction genre, then you will like this book. My favorite part is when they win the election because it means things will get better from there.

Imagine being told you can no longer talk to your best friend. Thats how it was for Marlee and Liz.  After Liz was caught passing for white, they had to meet in secret. Their parents said that their friendship would cause everyone danger. Marlee’s crush, JT, asked her to tutor him in math. Instead of her helping him, he takes her homework as his.
