The Siren

The book I read was The Siren by Kiera Cass. This book is 327 pages long. Something you might not know about this author is that she loves to eat cake. If you like romance books then you will like this book. My favorite part is when Kahlen and Akinli go to the bookstore together.

Kahlen is a siren, but she wasn’t always one. She had been a part of a wealthy household and was just traveling with her mom when their ship crashed. While she was drowning, one of the sirens told her she could be with her mom and continue to drown or come with them. Now she can’t talk in public because she is a siren. When she meets Akinli at a local college, she falls in love, which is strictly against the oceans rules. One night she accidentally lets one word slip, and he jumps into the ocean. When Kahlen and Akinli become sick after they are separated, They don’t know what to do. How will they get better if they don’t even know whats wrong?  Read The Siren by Kiera Cass.

The Boy On The Wooden Box

The book I read was The Boy on the Wooden Box by Leon Leyson, Marilyn J. Harran, and Elisabeth B. Leyson. This book is 206 pages long. This Book is a true story of what happened to Leon in the Nazi camps and how Oskar Schindler saved his life. My favorite part of this story is how he was able to go back to Poland

Leon Leyson lived in Narewka with his mom, brothers, and sister. When his dad earned enough money they were able to move to Krakow and live with him. Hitler and his army invaded Poland and there was one issue. Leon and his family were Jewish. they stayed in Poland as long as they could with the help of his fathers work permit, but eventually, they were sent to Plazow. After a while, they were transferred to Schindler’s factory where they got more food and the work was not unbearable. at the end of the war, they were released and sent back home. Leon and what was left of his family went back to Poland. When he sends a request to move to America, how will he communicate with other people? A Wrinkle in Time

The book I read was A Wrinkle In Time by Madeleine L’ Engle. This book is 232 pages long. This book is in a quintet. Something you might not know about this author is she moved to the French Alps when she was twelve. My favorite part of this book was when they were flying through the air and had to use the flower bells to breathe.

When Charles Wallace meets a woman who claims she knows where he is, Meg, her brother, and their friends Calvin O’ Keefe go with her. When they go with two other women, they learn how to Tesser. The Candymakers

The book I read was The Candymakers by Wendy Mass. This book is 480 pages long. Another book by this author is A Mango-Shaped space.  If you like books with lots of plot twists than this is the book for you. I love how the author was very descriptive about everything.

They each have their secrets, good ones or not. Logan, Daisy, Phillip, and Miles are in a candy contest along with 28 other kids. The candy the judges think is the best will be the new candy produced. Logan has been excited about this contest for his whole life since his dad owns Life Is Sweet, a well-known candy factory. When the competition starts and they begin to work on their candies. when they find out the whole factory is in danger, they have to work together. Will they save the factory or will it close down forever? Read The CandyMakers by Wendy Mass.

Neighborhood Girls

The book I read was Neighborhood Girls by Jessie Ann Foley. This book is 368 pages long. Something you might not know about this author is that she has been writing since she was 5 years old. If you like books in the realistic fiction genre then you will like this book. My favorite part was when Wendy went ghost hunting with her Aunt Kathy.

Wendy Boychuck and her best friends Kenzie, Sapphire, and Emily are the troublemakers of Academy of Sacred  Heart, but she wasn’t always their friends. When her Dad was arrested, she became well known for all the wrong reasons. Kenzie was the friend she needed to make an unbreakable shield from bullies. Wendy had to abandon her old best friend Alexis to rebuild herself. Now that their school is closing, she finds herself dealing with more issues than before. Kingdom Keepers: Disney After Dark

The book I read was Kingdom Keepers: Disney After Dark. This book is by Ridley Pearson and is 324 pages long. This is the first book in a series of seven. If you like fantasy books then you will like this series. I love how the author made the book exciting and fun while putting creepy things in there too.

Once upon a time, Walt Disney created his characters. Lots of people believed in them, and belief brings characters to life, but not all of them are good.  Fin, Charlene, Maybeck, and Philby are chosen to be DHIs at the magic kingdom. Soon they discover they all have been having the same dream. Then in one of those dreams, Fin meets Wayne. He tells him that in order to save the parks, he has to get all of the DHIs together in the dream to solve a riddle. The overtakers need to be stopped and they are the only ones who can do it.
